Food Insecurity High Among College & University Students, New Study Finds

We have basic human needs — food, shelter, water. These affect everybody, and college students are no exception. This week Temple University released a new survey on food insecurity among university students. Almost half of the students in the survey were affected by hunger; at CUNY in New York City, it’s higher than the average at 48%. We talked to Joel Berg, CEO of Hunger Free America.
